Steady State introduces a refreshing brand of indie-rock that artfully blends a variety of influences ranging from folk, blues, funk, country, classic rock, and straightforward rock and roll. Hailing from West Philadelphia, the Steady State crew are children of the WXPN-driven music scene that has inspired the burgeoning West Philly original music renaissance. The staple sound of the Steady State features dynamic and high energy percussion behind a driving bass and a blend of acoustic songwriting sensibilities, prominent electric guitar leads, and vocal harmonies.
